Pluto

About the project:
Pluto was established in 2022 by Julius Schlicht as an alternative, curated space offering an escape from the commercial club scene in Dresden (DE). The line-up features a mix of national and international DJs and producers. A key element is the interdisciplinary collaboration with artists who create bespoke installations for each event at objekt klein a and the former Palais Palett.

Design:
Ongoing design concept for the 'Pluto' event series at Objekt Klein A (Dresden, Germany), curated by Julius Schlicht (aka Sova).

The visual concept, developed in 2023, combines an illustrative mascot with matching typefaces. Diverse design forms and technical variations in production are central components of the visual identity.

Over the years, this has resulted in a distinctive and ongoing series of posters, created using various printing techniques, as well as accompanying motion design assets.
